Funder Delegation Fees and Costs

Lodging: Funders will be staying at the Villa San José (http://www.villasanjose.com.mx/index2.htm).  The cost per room (single or double) is $100, which includes breakfast.

Delegation Fee: $375 (early bird ends March 31) or $425 (from April 1). Optional morning site visit on May 9 is $35.

This amount covers Summit registration fees ($125), pre-trip briefing materials, meeting rooms, meals and coffee breaks during orientation and other discussion sessions, mid-day meals provided at the Summit, a funder reception and dinner with Summit organizers and local transportation for site visits and other special events.

Recommended Contribution to Travel Fund: The Summit plans to convene more than 250 Latin American and Caribbean migrant leaders from across the hemisphere, many of who will require travel stipends in order to attend. The state and local governments of Michoacán and Morelia have pledged significant in-kind contributions toward local arrangements, but there is an urgent funding need for travel, international coordination, translation, meals, and communications. Funders and donors whose institutions are not already supporting this initiative are asked to provide a grant of $500 to organizers to help cover the costs of bringing additional migrant leaders to the Summit.
