Funders' Delegation and Agenda

FNTG has long been involved with the World Social Forum and the US Social Forum, and is an observer-member of the organizing council of both. In addition to lodging, transportation and logistical support, funders will receive pre-trip background materials, participate in orientation briefings in Atlanta, and meet briefly each day to exchange insights and experiences with other funders sharing similar interests and funding priorities.

On the last day of the forum, FNTG will organize an assessment session for funders to share insights gained over the course of the week, discuss ways in which participation in the delegation may impact individual grantmaking, and explore the potential for future joint initiatives among funders interested in these issues.
