| Description | Our Shareholder Action on Economic Justice Initiative seeks to address the negative impacts of globalization by helping to raise standards for global supply chain workers. We engage as shareholders with major U.S. companies like Dell, Disney, HP, McDonald’s and Wal-Mart, challenging them to ensure decent working conditions and transparency at factories in developing countries. We were a key participant in Project Kaleidoscope, a project to improve working conditions at 10 Chinese supply factories for Disney and McDonald’s. We are pressing to ensure that Wal-Mart’s greening of its supply chain does not harm supply chain workers or lower labor standards.
