| Description | CAlifornia Students and Teachers Advocating a Worldwide Alliance of Youth is being launched by teachers, students and staff at Centennial High School in Compton. By sending a delegation of students and teachers to the World Social Forum, we will give participants exposure, inspiration, and tools to serve as leaders both in their communities and in the global justice movement. In addition, by sending young people of color to represent Los Angeles, we strengthen connections between the nexus of third world communities here in LA and peoples of the Global South. |
