| Description | JustAct is a national, non-profit organization whose mission is to develop in young
people a life-long commitment to social, economic and environmental justice around the world. JustAct’s fundamental role is to link young people, with an emphasis on youth of color, working class students and youth from other historically marginalized groups, to global issues, to new and critical perspectives, to opportunities for education and action, to grassroots organizing at home and abroad, and to other young people sharing our issues and concerns.
Through training camps, globalization workshops, experiential learning, national and international networking, direct action mobilizing and anti-racism trainings, JustAct develops youth leadership and organizing skills to enhance young people’s critical analysis of global issues as these relate to our lives and communities, helping us become more effective advocates for social, economic and environmental justice. |
