| Description | The National Economic and Social Rights Initiative (NESRI) promotes a human rights vision for the United States ensuring dignity and access to the basic resources needed for human development and civic participation. Working in partnership with communities NESRI: 1) Provides human rights research, documentation and analysis for partners; 2) Develops participatory documentation projects by training community members to gather qualitative information informing their advocacy, and strengthening their organizing, 3) Provides workshops on the practical application of human rights to the U.S.; 4) Facilitates the use of human rights bodies by domestic community groups; and 5) Supports international solidarity among communities by facilitating exchange and dialogue |
