| Project overview | The Progressive Media Project seeks to train the staff of progressive nonprofits working for domestic and international social justice in basic media techniques, such as writing op-eds and letters to the editor, appearing on radio and TV, and public speaking. Given the lack of resources most groups have to commit to media work, which is essential for their project's overall success, nonprofit media training that goes beyond mere lecturing is a must. The Progressive Media Project will provide tailor-made, hands-on media clinics for foundation grantees and other nonprofits either in-house or on-site. Every group has different media needs, and the Progressive Media Project is equipped to fill them. |
