| Project overview | The Consumer’s Choice Council will hold an ecolabeled foods dinner on September 10 at 7:00 pm at Cancun’s Restaurante Maria Bonita , entitled "Dinner Stories." We are inviting members of the international media and delegates in attendance at the WTO ministerial meeting. The dinner will feature sustainably produced Mexican food products, which will highlight the importance of environmentally sustainable food production, ecolabels, and local Mexican produce. Renate Kunast, the German Minister for Agriculture and Consumer Affairs, and Pascal Lamy, Commissioner of Trade for the European Commission have been invited to co-host this event. We hosted a similar dinner to coincide with the WTO’s Seattle ministerial meeting, and found it to be an interesting, informative event. |
