| Project overview | To broaden the state-wide educating and organizing, of the diverse parts of civil society affected by ‘free trade’ policies; utilizing the Miami Ministerial as an intercept point where these various constituencies come together as allies as part of building an ongoing state-wide coalition beyond the FTAA Ministerial.
The two main components to be funded are:
· Fulfilling the current requests for training and support materials from over 75 local unions, 5 Central Labor Councils, student, environmental, and religious organizations throughout Florida and:
· Coordinating September Teach-In’s at ten Florida campuses; utilizing local labor, environmental, and family farmers, along with their national and international counterparts to create awareness and mobilize for the Miami ministerial.
