| Project overview | The aim of the action is to empower and facilitate participation of the citizenry in leadership and governance initiatives and to superintend and demand for excellence and integrity in leadership and governance from the government. The main activities or processes envisioned are education, sensitization and dissemination of information so as to capacity build among the citizenry; establishing and organizing various initiatives, programs and forums for activities such as training, civic education and for facilitating participation; policy research and analysis in an effort to establish their effects on development, their impact on the lives of the populace and on the flip side to develop and or formulate policies in partnership with various stake holders that bring about development and promote good governance and finally to provide advisory, conciliatory and arbitrary services which is an integral aspect in any leadership and governance endeavor. The actions will also be aimed at decentralization, democracy and proper management of financial and natural resources. |
