Project overview | This project is ongoing and was inaugurated in late 2003. It is already partly funded for 2005. Its current focus is on the impact and prospects for the European Union. While the EU's position on trade talks is sometimes worse than the US, on other aspects of globalization, its policies are significantly better than those of the US. Thus it is not an easy entity to judge, and its future is even harder to predict. Green politics plays a significant role in Europe, and the Greens greatest strength in Europe is the UN, so our contacts among European Greens assist in monitoring EU developments. We are a 501c3 organization and do not endorse parties or candidates, but we will bring this force for progressive developments within the EU to light. |
