| Project overview | The California Coalition for Fair Trade and Human Rights is beginning the final push in our campaign to defeat the Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA), an expansion of the NAFTA free trade model into Central America.
We will increase pressure on remaining undecided California Congressional members, generate media attention around the agreement’s impending vote, and further educate Californians about CAFTA and the effects of trade policy on their everyday lives—everything from food labeling to prescription drugs.
