| Project overview | The current worldwide trend towards increasingly stringent intellectual property (IP) standards can have adverse social, environmental and development effects. The human rights framework provides strong tools to support efforts towards more equitable and development-oriented IP systems. This Study Session provides the opportunity for dialogue and exploring application of human rights tools to ensure more equitable, development-friendly IP rules. |
