Project overview | The Alliance for Responsible Trade is a founder and the U.S. chapter of the Hemispheric Social Alliance and, as such, works in close collaboration with partners in the Americas to analyze current trade proposals, develop alternatives, inform governments, and educate the public. ART is presently organizing a speaking tour designed to increase knowledge in the United States about the FTAA and to expand civil-society participation in ART/HSA and other events to be held parallel to the trade ministers’ meeting this November in Miami, including a forum that contrasts the HSA’s alternative proposals with the FTAA. |
